“We installed a BlueBarrel System at the Silsby library. It collects water into 3 barrels that gravity feed to 3 garden beds. This is a low-pressure irrigation system with a timer so that the plants get watered automatically. Rainwater is said to be a poor man’s fertilizer. It has the proper pH and some organic matter without any chlorine or other chemicals.”
